Southern Research and Outreach Center

The University of Minnesota's Southern Research and Outreach Center and the Department of Soil, Water, & Climate maintain a Climatological Observatory on the grounds of the station at Waseca. This page provides links to charts that show the last 7 days of data collected at the Observatory. These charts are updated once per day. The new charts should be available after 8:20 each morning.

Information about the data charts:

  • Most charts show average values for the hour.
  • Some charts show the maximum and average values within each hour.
  • Labeling on the X-axis of most of the charts is of the form MM DD HOUR, showing the month, day, and hour for the data. The time is Central Standard Time. Thus data labeled 6 19 1500 is for June 19th for the hour ending at 1500 C.S.T.
